On Sunday, West Ham and Everton will play at the London Stadium, and the visitors will be facing a number of injury and suspension issues.
After our crushing defeat at Aston Villa on Sunday, West Ham is in desperate need of a victory this weekend. Everton is also in the same situation, having suffered a defeat at Liverpool last time out.
David Moyes, the manager of the Hammers, is well aware of the significance of the match against the Toffees. Since 2015, we have only dropped two games against Everton in the league, and this current team is the worst they have had in a very long time.
The men from Goodison Park face a very real chance of being demoted to the Championship this season, so Sean Dyche’s team will surely put up a fierce fight at the London Stadium.Sadly,
though, Dyche won’t be able to use some of his star players for the game for the Toffees.
For Sunday’s game in East London, the Toffees will be without Dele Alli, Seamus Coleman, and Andre Gomes, per Premier Injuries.
Ashley Young will also be absent due to suspension after receiving two yellow cards on Saturday at Anfield.
Due to recent problems, poor Dele Alli hasn’t played this season. Needless to say, I wish him all the best in his future endeavours.
Even though the match between West Ham and Everton may not be the most visually appealing to watch, it is a crucial one for both teams.
And without even kicking a ball, I believe the Hammers already have a significant advantage.
Aside from Dele, Dyche’s team will undoubtedly miss the three absent Everton players because they are highly significant figures.
