Before the Packers play the Steelers, coach Matt LaFleur provides a concerning report on Jaire Alexander.
Matt LaFleur, the head coach of the Green Bay Packers, was vague while addressing Jaire Alexander’s injuries.
The Green Bay Packers, under head coach Matt LaFleur, are hoping to build on their season-high performance against the Los Angeles Rams last week. In front of a boisterous Lambeau Field crowd, the Packers trounced Los Angeles 20–3. Although it was only Green Bay’s third victory of the season, LaFleur had to be pleased by what he saw from his squad on Sunday, especially on the defensive end of the ball.
Regretfully, the Packers may find it difficult to duplicate their outstanding defensive performance this week, particularly in light of top cornerback and possibly the team’s best player overall, Jaire Alexander, having an uncertain injury condition.
Alexander has lost time this season due to a back ailment, but at the moment, his shoulder is causing him discomfort. It appears that he sustained a knock during the Rams victory.
Matt LaFleur responded to a question on Alexander’s availability for the Packers’ next game against the Pittsburgh Steelers in a way that will likely not sit well with supporters of the team.
According to Sports Illustrated’s Bill Huber, LaFleur responded, “I’d say so.” “Not practicing for two days straight.”
According to Huber, Jaire Alexander was observed riding an exercise bike during Thursday’s Green Bay practice. The Steelers offense, which hasn’t exactly been lighting the world on fire thus far in 2023, will be up against the Packers, who are currently 3-5 on the season. On November 12, the game is scheduled to begin at 1:00 PM ET from Pittsburgh.
