TreVeyon Henderson called Ohio State Buckeyes quarterback Kyle McCord spoiled.

According to Kyle McCord, the abundance of talented players on Ohio State forces rival defences to choose carefully how best to contain the Buckeyes.

The top-ranked Ohio State Buckeyes defeated the Michigan State Spartans 38-3 on Saturday, securing their tenth victory of the year on home court.

In one of his best games of the season thus far, Buckeyes quarterback Kyle McCord passed for 335 yards and three touchdowns against the Spartans.

After the game, McCord stated that Ohio State’s depth of offensive talent was the reason for his success both against Michigan State and throughout the entire season. The starting signal caller told reporters that he thinks the balance of the team’s elite receivers and running backs compels the other defence to choose a risky strategy when facing the Buckeyes.

“I’m pampered,” McCord remarked. “I can only phrase it that way. Looking around that field, all you see is dogs at every single spot. I believe that defences have to be selective in how they attempt to stop us. In order to try to stop TreVeyon Henderson, they want to load the front, which calls for favourable matchups with the outside players. TreVeyon Henderson will perform his duties and we have a strong run box if they choose to play coverage.

Receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. caught two of McCord’s three touchdown passes; he also scored the game’s first touchdown on the ground. Harrison Jr. finished with seven receptions for 149 yards.

The Minnesota Golden Gophers will be the Ohio Stadium opponent for McCord and the Buckeyes the following weekend, Saturday, November 18, at 4 p.m. Big Ten Network will broadcast the game nationwide.
