This past weekend, Ohio State football welcomed a record-breaking number of prospects to the Buckeyes’ blowout victory over Michigan State.
Although there were recruits from several classes, defensive lineman Amaris Williams of North Carolina would be a huge addition to the Buckeyes 2024 recruiting class. Although he has committed to the Florida Gators since mid-June, the 6-foot-3-inch, 270-pound player may have changed his mind after this visit.
On Tuesday, Tom Loy and Bill Kurelic each recorded two crystal ball selections for Williams to ultimately transfer to Ohio State. According to the 247Sports Composite Rankings, he is the nation’s 100th overall recruit and ranked 15th among defensive lineman.

The SEC may have its best chance to overtake the top spot in the CFP rankings in week twelve of the college football season.
Kirby Smart’s Georgia football team will try to surpass Ohio State for the top seed and hold off Michigan, who has ranked directly behind the Bulldogs in the last two polls, after the team has earned the No. 2 ranking in the College Football Playoff top 25 for the past two weeks.
Once again, Georgia outperformed a highly regarded SEC opponent, defeating Ole Miss, then ranked ninth, 52–17 in Sanford Stadium. Rebels dual-threat quarterback Jaxson Dart was stifled by the Bulldogs defence, who forced an interception and saw Dart complete just 10 of 17 passes for 112 yards.
The Bulldogs offense also up a ridiculous 611 yards of offense, 306 of those in the air from quarterback Carson Beck, who threw for 306 yards and two touchdowns. Running backs Kendall Milton and Daijun Edwards both found the endzone twice each to combine for four rushing touchdowns.

With a 49-21 victory over Kentucky, Alabama maintained its perfect record in conference play. Jalen Milroe continued to show growth this year, finishing with 234 passing yards and two touchdowns against the Wildcats. Even if Alabama defeats Georgia in the SEC title game, the Crimson Tide might still need assistance to make it into the playoffs. They are currently ranked eighth in the CFP polls.
