Finally, Georgia surpasses Ohio State to take the top spot in the third College Football Playoff ranking for 2023.
Georgia is currently atop the pack in our third College Football Playoff ranking for the 2023 campaign.
In this most recent ranking, Ohio State is presently ranked second, not too far behind the Bulldogs. Washington and Oregon are barely outside the coveted top four, with Michigan and Florida State rounding out the top four.
Some noteworthy conclusions are that Missouri moved up into the top 10, Kansas fell to the No. 25 position following their loss to Texas Tech, and Alabama remained stable at No. 8.
We’ll be counting down the rankings as they come every Tuesday until conference championship weekend until the College Football Playoff committee determines the top-4 teams on Sunday, Dec. 3.
