Ohio’s COLUMBUS — After defeating Minnesota 37-3 to end its 2023 home schedule, Ohio State was able to give its offence two weeks to find its identity.

Yes, it wasn’t quite as easy to defeat the Golden Gophers as it had been against Michigan State the week before, but the same goal was achieved. With every offensive weapon at their disposal, the Buckeyes made effective use of them all in their quest to continuously move the ball down the field while rendering their opponents defenceless.

By doing this over the past two weeks, the unit was able to prepare for this weekend’s trip to Ann Arbour, Michigan.

Josh Simmons, who had an 80.3 Pro Football Focus grade, was leading that charge. The San Diego State transfer has improved greatly since his early-season struggles, which frequently caused the offence to regress, and this exceptional grade is the ultimate testament to his progress.
