For Rutgers, Penn State proved to be too much.

It was the Scarlet Knights’ third straight loss as they lost 27-6 to the No. 12 Nittany Lions (9-2, 6-2) in State College on Saturday. Rutgers’ bowl game destination is becoming more and more obvious with just one game left in the regular season.

Men’s basketball extended its winning run to four games on the court on Saturday at Jersey Mike’s Arena thanks to a dull victory over Howard. On Friday night, the wrestling programme lost to No. 8 Virginia Tech at the same location, letting a chance at a signature victory slip through its fingers
