AC Milan hectic January transfer window, concluded.

With several signings anticipated during what could be a busy January transfer window, AC Milan is already getting ready. As stated by the Italian press this morning, Stefano Pioli’s team may receive the addition of four players.

Giorgio Furlani and Geoffrey Moncada made very deliberate signings in January in an effort to put an end to the emphasis on injuries and depth. The Champions League Round of 16 will determine a lot, but the Rossoneri seem to have a respectable budget in place.

Today’s Gazzetta dello Sport (see photo below) reports that Milan is prepared to bolster four positions: striker, midfielder, left back, and center back. The top two are the most important, but the other two won’t be overlooked.

Striker

Let us begin with the most pressing role. Olivier Giroud has put in a lot of work, so a No. 9 reinforcement is crucial. As things stand right now, Akor Adams (Montpellier), Serhou Guirassy (Stuttgart), and Jonathan David (Lille) are the three main targets. But the real question is, who might show up in January?

Despite his struggles at the beginning of the season, David is the easiest of the three to sign. The international player from Canada is valued at €40 million, but Lille may choose to sell him in January if they receive a strong offer.

Adams seems to have the same outlook as Guirassy, who has a €17 million release clause but intends to leave in the summer. Having said all of this, it is impossible to rule out the possibility of last-minute opportunities in January for other targets.

center-back

Milan is focusing on Jakub Kiwior in defense. Before moving to Arsenal, he was connected to the Rossoneri, and they are nowAlessandro Marcandalli (Reggiana, owned by Genoa) and Konstantinos Koulierakis (Paok), two young players, are also being watched by Moncada. But for both of them, the road to Milanello is very long, particularly since Milan needs reinforcement right away. keeping an eye on him again. The plan is to get him a loan, but whether the Gunners will agree to this is still up in the air. Benoit Badiashile of Chelsea is an additional loan option.

Midfielder

Milan began their pursuit of Assan Ouédraogo two years ago, and they moved quickly. However, the competition has since intensified and become very competitive. Arsenal, Bayern Munich, Leipzig, Inter, and Inter have all been brought up.

The 17-year-old Schalke midfield player has a €12 million release clause, and several teams are interested in signing him. On the outgoing front, though, could come Milan’s big surprise. Rade Krunic remains a target for Fenerbahce, and the Rossoneri are prepared to take a reasonable offer for the Bosnian.

Left-back

Although Juan Miranda is the least important position, Milan has a good chance to take advantage of it. His Real Betis contract expires in the summer, and he could join for a small transfer fee. Yes, give or take, we are discussing about €5 million.

Nonetheless, Miranda has requested a €2 million seasonly salary, which needs to be taken into account. Alessandro Florenzxi and Davide Baretisaghi have proven to be reliable so far for Milan, and Theo Hernandez consistently plays when healthy.
