On senior day, Rutgers will play its final regular-season game at home against Maryland. The Scarlet Knights, who are 6-5, have suffered three straight losses and have sustained a number of bumps and bruises during that time. The team is playing for its best finish since 2014 against a 6-5 Maryland team, but they are already bowl eligible. Here is a look at the regular season’s final injury report, emphasising the players who are questionable and out.

OUT LB Powell Tyreem

OL Tyler Needham

Johnny Langan, TE

WR Chris Long

Bo Mascoe, DB

Naseim Brantley, WR

Joe De Croce, OL

Jake Eldridge, LS

Uncertain running back Kyle Monangai

OL Reggie Sutton

LB Deion Jennings

Shaquan Loyal, S.

Bryan Felter, OL

Rutgers revealed earlier today that Langan would be out for the remainder of the campaign. The team has struggled with multiple injuries over the last few weeks, which could have an impact on the outcome of today’s game. Despite experiencing pain during the game last weekend, a few of those players managed to play through four quarters against Penn State.

After a 27-6 loss to Penn State, head coach Greg Schiano remarked, “We have some real warriors in that locker room.” “Guys, I’m telling you that you have no business playing this sport if you don’t love your team.” To be clear, that is entirely up to them. On this football team, there are some guys who are just all-out warriors. Additionally, some of these players who are playing with a lot of pain then experience exacerbation when playing against Penn State.

Powell was one of Rutgers’ best players until sustaining a season-ending hand injury in the eighth week of the season against Indiana. His loss has been significant. At the time of the injury, he led the team in tackles made. Chris Long is out for the season, and offensive linemen Ty Needham and Chris Long have been sidelined since the first two weeks.Brantley and Mascoe’s eligibility concerns keep them marked as out. Brantley transferred from FCS Western Illinois, and he hasn’t played in a game this season.
