Raptors news: Masai Ujiri discusses the team and a potential trade partner for the team.

Although Ujiri has a clear plan, teams will still consider trades despite this.

Masai Ujiri’s inability to help the Toronto Raptors decide whether to rebuild or go all in has left many fans and outside observers highly irritated with him. Fans are longing for some kind of clarity, but he doesn’t seem willing to move this team out of the middle.

The fact that Toronto is a mediocre 9-11 team and has no plans to make a major trade is a direct result of their unwillingness to make a bold move, which will only irritate a vocal and growing portion of this fan base.

With this group, Ujiri has emphasized patience, and his most recent interview during Toronto’s loss to the New York Knicks on the telecast only served to reinforce that message. Even though his players are having trouble, and Darko Rajakovic has had some dubious performances, Ujiri is determined to succeed with Scottie Barnes.

On the telecast, Ujiri declared, “This is the team we have.” “I believe centered on Scottie Barnes. We have young players like Gradey Dick and Pascal Siakam as well as OG Anunoby. These guys are coming up, and I think we should wait and see how these guys develop in the new system before moving forward.
