It’s been a while since we had another black stripe alert! The newest member of BIA is rookie safety Cedrick Hawkins, who recently lost his black stripe.
Hawkins, a 2023 class four-star recruit, attended Cocoa High School in Titusville, Florida. Despite only being ranked as the class’s No. 28 overall safety, Hawkins was in high demand. Even though the majority of experts think he has the skill to play at a higher level, he still needs to gain weight in order to compete in the Big Ten and other conferences.
This season, Hartson is the thirty-second Buckeye to lose his black stripe.
