The Cleveland Browns have few options to help cover the gaps left by a plethora of injuries, but Carlos Dunlap is a seasoned player the team might consider pursuing on the defensive line.
Ogbo Okoronkwo, a pass rusher for the Browns, is likely to miss the entire season due to a pectoral injury. In a Sunday victory over the Chicago Bears, Okoronkwo did not play. He is awaiting a second opinion. For the Browns’ second-leading sack artist, though, things appear bleak.
Dunlap, 34, might be able to fill the hole. He has a résumé that includes 125 career starts and 100 sacks. Bleacher Report suggested that the Browns sign Dunlap as a late-season free agent.
