WR Ja’Marr Chase of the Bengals is sidelined due to a shoulder injury. This season, DT Reader and CB Ivey were defeated.

CINCINNATI – Coach Zac Taylor announced on Sunday that receiver Ja’Marr Chase of the Cincinnati Bengals is day to day due to a sprained shoulder joint.

Chase will therefore be uncertain for Cincinnati’s (8-6) trip to Pittsburgh on Saturday in the AFC playoffs. In Saturday’s 27-24 overtime victory over the Vikings, Chase sustained an injury.

Regarding the standout wide receiver, who has 1,156 receiving yards and seven touchdowns this season, Taylor stated, “We’ll continue to see how the week goes.”

DJ Reader (quad) at defensive tackle and DJ Ivey (knee) at cornerback will undoubtedly be out for Cincinnati. For the remainder of the season, both are out.

Following franchise quarterback Joe Burrow’s season-ending wrist injury on November 16, Bengals quarterback Jake Browning made his third consecutive start and emerged victorious.
