Batum’s early night off left him with tight hamstrings in his right leg. The 76ers’ head coach, Nick Nurse, talked about the setback after the game. He hinted that Batum might not be dealing with anything too serious, but the team can’t be too certain just yet.

Following the match, Nurse told reporters, “It’s sore.” “They just mentioned that it’s sore right now, so I guess they don’t think it’s anything too serious.” Of course, they want to look into it more thoroughly tomorrow.

Batum finished the game on Monday with three points in just under 27 minutes of play. Although he didn’t contribute much in terms of scoring, Batum’s passing and grabbing are vital for the 76ers starting five. The Sixers lost to the Bulls 108-104 in the fourth quarter, their first defeat in seven games. They missed him.

Despite being a fantastic addition to the Los Angeles Clippers, Batum has missed a good amount of games this season because of personal issues and a minor injury. Batum has missed seven of his first 16 games with the 76ers since the trade was completed.

The Sixers will resume practice on Tuesday. Given that they have a crucial game coming up on Wednesday, it is hoped that Batum’s setback is just soreness.
