LeBron James has an amazing NBA career, but he added an unwanted record to his list of accomplishments. Grayson Allen was able to extend the Suns’ lead after the 38-year-old made history by becoming the first NBA player to reach 5,000 turnovers in the competition. In the end, it didn’t really matter because the Lakers played the Arizona team flawlessly to start the new league.

LeBron James set an unwanted career record as the LA Lakers defeated the Phoenix Suns 122-119 to start their NBA In-Season Tournament campaign.
In addition to putting up 32 points, 11 rebounds, and six assists, James made NBA history by committing his 5,000th turnover of his career. It was another outstanding performance from James.
The Suns were leading 51–40 at the start of the second quarter when Grayson Allen took advantage of a steal to extend their lead.
