BENGALS HEAD COACH ZAC TAYLOR WILL ONLY LEAVE CINCINNATI ‘IN A CASKET’

Bengals coach Zac Taylor says he'll be carried out 'in a casket'

After a 6-25-1 start to his head coaching career, Zac Taylor appeared to have a comfortable seat in Cincinnati. But Taylor is the team’s long-term player after two trips to the AFC Championship Game and a Super Bowl berth.

And the REALLY LONG haul, as he put it.

In an interview with the Cincinnati Enquirer, Taylor stated that he plans to lead the team as head coach for a very long period. And he desires to be precisely there.

Zac Taylor told the newspaper, “They’re gonna have to carry me out of here in a casket.” “I adore it. Cincinnati in particular. For my family, myself, the other coaches, the owners, and Duke (Director of Player Personnel for the Bengals), it’s a really good fit.

With Zac Taylor’s assistance, the Cincinnati Bengals became a consistent Super Bowl contender.
The team’s record in Taylor’s first season was 2-14. However, that proved advantageous as they “deserved” the top pick in the NFL Draft. They chose Burrow based on that selection. Most people overlook the fact that Cincinnati, understandably, also had the first pick in the second round of that draft.

With that pick, the Bengals targeted Tee Higgins, a wide receiver for Clemson.

The team struggled in Burrow’s rookie campaign, and the quarterback was sidelined by an injury that ended his season. That strategy paid off, though, as the Bengals went 4-11-1 and were selected fifth overall in the draft.
