Dolly blow: The Kaizer Chiefs star is dealing with yet another injury.

Keagan Dolly has dealt Kaizer Chiefs a new blow as the gifted attacker is expected to miss more time due to injury.

The 30-year-old may miss a significant amount of time due to an apparent ankle injury that he recently suffered.

Keagan Dolly, who has played in five games across all competitions this season after recovering from an anterior cruciate ligament tear he sustained in April, is deeply hurt by this most recent setback.

Cavin Johnson, the interim coach, mentored him during his three starts in the DStv Premiership. And now he may miss up to six weeks of work.

Fans of Amakhosi will be disappointed by this news because they were expecting Dolly to be a major player in their next games. Next Saturday, when Amakhosi visits Polokwane City FC, he will not be involved.

Additionally, it appears that he will likely miss the FNB Stadium match on December 23 against Richards Bay as well as the Sekhukhune United match one week later.

The team’s offensive options will surely be strained without him, so Johnson will need to find a way to make up for it.

Dolly’s injury is just one more thing to worry about for the Kaizer Chiefs, who have already experienced setbacks this season due to injuries to other important players.

The last four games involving Golden Arrows FC, Cape Town Spurs, Orlando Pirates, and Moroka Swallows have been missed by Ashley Du Preez. Thatayaone Ditlhokwe is also absent due to a recent shoulder dislocation sustained while serving in the country.

Du Preez is recovering in the interim and might play again soon.

Ashley is out on the field and jogging a little, which is encouraging. He will return at the end of December, based on the medical report I have,” Johnson informed the club’s media department.
