December 22, Philadelphia 76ers Injury Report: Tyrese Maxey and Robert Covington’s availability as of late.

Sixers' DeAnthony Melton, Nicolas Batum and Robert Covington all miss Thursday's practice

The Philadelphia 76ers, who will next play the Toronto Raptors on December 22, are considered to be heavily dependent on Tyrese Maxey and Robert Covington. This season’s third meeting between the two clubs will see the Sixers prevail in both meetings.

The television broadcast rights to the game are held by NBC Sports Philadelphia and SN, for those who would like to watch and enjoy some basketball action. In the meantime, an NBA League Pass subscription is the greatest option for people who prefer to watch live streaming online.

Three players for the Sixers are on the list, per their most recent injury report. Nic Batum is not available and is ruled out, and D’Anthony Melton is rated as “questionable.” Robert Covington is rated as “probable,” so the Sixers should decide whether to start him at halftime.

Tyrese Maxey and the other members of the team are now free to play against the Toronto Raptors.

Tyrese Maxey has only missed one game this season, and that was on December 1st against the Boston Celtics because of illness. He hasn’t missed any of the following eight games since.

Conversely, Robert Covington missed the team’s most recent game—its third missed game in the 28 games the Philadelphia 76ers have played—due to illness.

Tyrese Maxey had a great game in the Raptors’ opening game against the Sixers on October 27, scoring 34 points, dishing out seven assists, securing seven three-pointers, and pulling down six rebounds. In the seven-point victory, he was tied with Joel Embiid as the team’s top scorer.
