The Tennessee Titans could pose a serious threat to the Houston Texans.

Three key players for the Houston Texans—Tank Dell (leg), Nico Collins (calf), and C.J. Stroud (concussion)—are either out or expected to be out of the game against the Tennessee Titans. Additionally, word has it that defensive end Will Anderson Jr. (ankle) will probably miss Sunday’s match. Even worse, though, seems like Blake Cashman (hamstring) might miss Sunday’s game as well.

These are arguably the top five Texans players and the team’s five highest-rated players on Pro Football Focus. excluding Steven Sims, who appeared in just three snaps for the Texans. The fact that all five of these players hold the keys to the team’s strongest players makes their losses even more devastating.

Anderson and Cashman have been the Texans’ two best players whenever anyone has attempted to run on Houston, and Collins, Dell, and Stroud were the powerful engines that got the team into the playoff race in the first place. In addition, Cashman is a pass coverage virtuoso (for a linebacker) and Anderson is improving at pressing the quarterback.

With injuries to all five players, the passing game and run defense are now completely out of the question. Although the Titans aren’t a particularly good team, the Texans aren’t doomed either, so depending too much on the running game might not be a smart move. Derrick Henry will also be a major factor for the Titans in their attempt to win. Although Henry’s career as an elite runner is over, he might still be able to cause damage to a weak defense.
