Nebraska Husker, Multisport Participant, Opens Transfer Portal.

(NE, Lincoln) – Another volleyball player for the Nebraska Huskers will use the transfer portal. Maggie Mendelson, a multisport athlete, has logged into the transfer portal.

Mendelson participated in 13 games this season, recording 27 kills on 63 swings against Long Island in the NCAA Tournament. She averaged two points per game while playing basketball for the Huskers, where she was involved in 22 games. She received a basketball scholarship instead of a volleyball scholarship.

Alongside Caroline Jurevicius, Hayden Kubik, and Whitney Lauenstein, the middle departs. Mendelson will be eligible for two more years after she logs into the portal.
