Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow has a wrist surgery that goes well.
Cincinnati — Joe Burrow, the quarterback for the Cincinnati Bengals, had a successful surgery, the team announced on Monday.
The right wrist injury he suffered in the team’s Nov. 16 loss to the Baltimore Ravens was repaired with a torn ligament.
The team released a statement saying, “The procedure went as planned and he is expected to make a complete recovery.” “Joe will return to Cincinnati this week to be with the team and begin the recovery and rehab process.”
Bengals coach Zac Taylor refrained from disclosing specifics regarding Burrow’s surgery until it was finished earlier on Monday. Taylor did mention that Burrow desired to be near the team in Cincinnati while he healed from the injury that ended his season.
