ESPN REPORT: Top Red Sox Prospect Shows Off Recovery From Should Surgery.
Emerging A shoulder surgery ended the Boston Red Sox prospect’s 2023 season in June, but he demonstrated on Wednesday that he was prepared for a season of resiliency.
Miguel Bleis, who Sox Prospects ranks as the fifth best player in Boston’s farm system, showed off his five-tool potential during spring training this year. With one home run, 16 RBIs, and 11 stolen bases through 31 games, he was off to a strong start with the Salem Red Sox; however, surgery ended his season at Low-A Salem.
The 19-year-old intends to advance through the Boston farm system. He appears to be healing nicely from surgery, as evidenced by the Red Sox prospect’s Instagram story, in which he takes a few swings.
The outfield prospect attracted national notice as well, and this season he hopes to have the opportunity to advance through the minor league ranks.
