Due to a knee ailment, Bonitto missed two games. On Sunday, he confessed that his knee wasn’t at 100%, but he still played and recorded a few tackles for loss in 40 snaps. Bonitto’s development this season, both on the field and seemingly in approach and preparation, falls firmly into the positives column, especially considering how his rookie year in 2022 went. He will continue to play a significant role in Denver’s defense. As the season comes to a close, he has seven sacks, twelve TFLs, and proof that he can regularly pressure quarterbacks.
Even though Singleton hasn’t received much attention this season, his tackling stats are still astounding. The inside linebacker has 162 for the season after 11 more against the Chargers; he needs nine more on Sunday to pass Michael Brooks for the most by a Bronco since at least 1991. Additionally, since at least 1999, he is tied for the most 10-plus tackle games (12) in a single season in the NFL. Against the Raiders, he has the opportunity to make it a baker’s dozen.
