Injury update for the Detroit Lions: Mohamed Ibrahim will require emergency surgery.

Detroit Lions star Mo Ibrahim rushed to hospital for emergency surgery after horrific leg injury caught on TV vs Ravens | The US Sun

While Mohamed Ibrahim needed emergency surgery, Detroit Lions coach Dan Campbell predicted that he would recover.

Early in the second half, the awful day for the Detroit Lions got even worse. Midway through the third quarter, Mohamed Ibrahim, who was only added to the practice squad this past week, caught a kickoff but was severely injured in the middle of the return play. Eventually, someone would have to carte him off.

Coach Dan Campbell claims that after Ibrahim’s dislocated hip required immediate surgery, he was sent to a nearby hospital.

During his press conference following the game, Campbell stated, “Mo is in the hospital and he’s having surgery right now.” “It seems like he will be alright, but he will be spending the night here. He is resilient. That’s terrible for him.

Ibrahim is having a terrible break because he has battled injuries for a large portion of his football career. He sustained a horrific Achilles injury in the Minnesota Gophers’ season-opening match in 2021. Then, during the Lions’ training camp this year, he sustained an injury that put him on injured reserve until he was able to work out an injury settlement with the team.
