Blues stars are back for both the Broncos and the Panthers as they compete for the top four spots.

As the fight for the top eight seeds intensifies with seven rounds left, this was a crucial game for both teams and undoubtedly the match of the round.

Representative prop Reagan Campbell-Gillard (broken jaw) will take several weeks to recover, but the Panthers will welcome back Tyrone Peachey, James Maloney, and Nathan Cleary after the trio missed last week’s home loss to Cronulla.

Penrith (11-6) will require maximum effort to secure a top four finish in the regular season after suffering defeats in three of their previous four games.

The Broncos, who are now 10-7 on the season, looked awful in the Warriors’ humiliating thrashing last week at home.

After the Raiders’ significant victory over the Cowboys moved them one game closer to the top eight, this could end up being an expensive outcome. The Broncos would have been in the top four with a victory, but now their main concern is holding onto eighth place.
