Following an early termination of another NRL campaign due to a torn pectoral in Origin II, the 27-year-old played just 11 games in the previous season.

“A pec is about a three month injury so I’ve had plenty of time for that to recover and I’m in a really good mental space now and training really hard,” Trbojevic stated.

“I was pretty much ready to go going into preseason, so these past five or six weeks have been fantastic. I’m in perfect shape. I’m good to go because we’ve made contact and everything has been cleared.”

David Fifita, a forward for the Titans, will require surgery to repair a pectoral muscle injury. The 23-year-old back-rower suffered a partial tear during preseason training, the team confirmed in a statement.

After finishing his rehabilitation in the upcoming weeks, the Maroons representative hopes to make a comeback for the 2024 season.
