“Too Sad, Too Bad!” one of the best player was suspended in Tennessee Titans

In the fierce AFC South rivalry, Houston Texans legend JJ Watt capped off Sunday’s victory against the Tennessee Titans with a joke that made matters worse.

Surviving were the Houston Texans.

Neither Nico Collins, their standout wide receiver, nor quarterback C.J. Stroud was on the field. They were without their most effective inside linebacker, their rookie edge rusher, and two starting offensive tackles.

They defeated the Tennessee Titans 19–16 after four quarters and all of overtime.

More than just maintaining playoff chances or earning bragging rights, the epic victory mattered. Tennessee’s decision to don their vintage Houston Oilers outfits was a rude awakening for the Houston supporters. The Texans retaliated.

Houston delivered gridiron justice in addition to improving to 8-6 and removing rival AFC South team the Titans from playoff contention.

After the win, JJ Watt, a legend of the Texans, joined in the fun.

Watt wrote, “We get the uniforms back,” on the defunct Twitter platform, X. “That’s the way it operates; I don’t set the guidelines.”

It’s not unusual to lose to a division rival. Wearing a uniform with strong associations to their hometown and losing — at home – to a division opponent without their franchise quarterback and nearly all of their best players? That one is fresh.

Watt went on, “Sorry, not sorry.” “Too bad, how depressing.”

According to Sumer Sports, Houston now has a 50/50 chance of making the playoffs after the victory. That could have been slashed in half by a loss. Despite the difficulties, the team managed to win, which is a credit to head coach DeMeco Ryans’ outstanding debut season.
