During the early signing period, Andy Bass, one of Oklahoma’s most productive players, submitted his national letter of intent and will now play for the Sooners. Bass is going to be a preferred walk-on for the Sooners.

According to Rivals, Bass is a three-star athlete and the fifth-best player in the state. With one reception for 71 yards and a touchdown, the dynamic Heritage Hall quarterback ran for 1,478 yards and 30 touchdowns in addition to throwing for 3,144 yards and 35 touchdowns. In his final season, he scored 65 touchdowns.

Bass will be utilized by the Sooners in a number of ways. As he gets used to college football, he will spend time with the running backs and also pick up the position of wide receiver.

Bass joins Xavier Robinson, Taylor Tatum, and other outstanding running backs at Oklahoma. Although there will be fierce competition for carries due to the depth of this position group, Bass will have an opportunity to establish himself.

After getting hurt during the Oklahoma state playoffs, he will probably redshirt his freshman year. Bass will give the Sooners’ offense another potent weapon in both the run and pass games whenever he does take the field.
