Four Cleveland Browns players need to get better by 2023.

These four players must get better if the Cleveland Browns are to return to the postseason in 2023.

The Cleveland Browns’ season-ending 7-10 record was a far cry from what they had anticipated, but they are not as far away as it would appear. They lost six of their games by a single score, so a few plays every week could have made a huge impact.

It is for this reason that optimism should be held for a much better 2023. They’ll undoubtedly add a few pieces to the mix, and some development from these important players might be enough to put them back in the running for the playoffs.

Andrew Berry chose to try and strengthen the offensive line with his first pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. With the tenth overall pick, he acquired Jedrick Wills from Alabama, moving him from right tackle to left.

In his rookie season, Wills mostly performed well, but it was to be expected that he would experience growing pains as he adjusted to a new position in the NFL. He appears to have regressed in year three, though, and hasn’t really taken the next step.

He wasn’t bad overall, but he could have done better. The Browns will need to see that through to the end. To maximize Deshaun Watson’s potential, they will require
