Report: Darvin Ham And The Lakers Have A “Disconnect” Regarding Lineup Decisions

LAKERS 2024-Season Preview 🔥 ALL PLAYERS - YouTube

During their 7-0 victory and absolute dominance, especially on defense, in the In-Season Tournament, the Los Angeles Lakers demonstrated their potential as a contender. Nevertheless, the Lakers have significantly underperformed since winning the Vegas final; they have dropped eight of their past ten games and are now 17–18, below.500.

The fact that their current losing streak is occurring while their two main players, LeBron James and Anthony Davis, are fit and active is what worries me the most. The Lakers cannot afford to falter when their two best players are healthy and performing at a respectable level, even with the injuries surrounding those two players. Fans have voiced their dissatisfaction with head coach Darvin Ham’s lineup and rotation decisions as the Lakers have lost, and it seems that players are feeling the same way.

Following Wednesday night’s 110-96 loss to the Heat, in which the Lakers used yet another starting lineup, a report by The Athletic’s Jovan Buha and Shams Charania detailed a “deepening disconnect” between the Lakers and Ham in the locker room, raising concerns about Ham’s future with the team.
