Revealed: Cleveland Browns on track to land £22m jackpot after…
CLEVELAND (WJW): In the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft, the Cleveland Browns are not selected.
In exchange for quarterback Deshaun Watson, the franchise sent Houston its first-round selection. It is very unlikely that the Browns return to the first round given the quantity of picks they gave up in the transaction.

However, it doesn’t mean looking back on previous first-round draft picks isn’t enjoyable.
The Browns’ first-round selections since 2010 are summarized as follows:
2021: Northwestern cornerback Greg Newsome II, ranked 26th overall
In twelve games as a rookie, he recorded thirty solo tackles for the Browns. Cleveland has a four-year contract with him.

2020: Finished tenth overall: Alabama offensive tackle Jedrick Wills
In a draft class that was deep at offensive tackle, Wills was among the best-rated players in the position. He moved from right to left tackle on the offensive line right away and assumed a starting position.
He was selected to the PFWA’s 2020 NFL All-Rookie squad and won rookie of the week in 2020.

2018: Top overall: Oklahoma quarterback Baker Mayfield
He has participated in 60 games.
and guided the Browns to their first postseason triumph since January 1, 1995. Due to his shoulder injury from the previous season, the offense had difficulty getting going.
Deshaun Watson, the quarterback, and backup quarterback Jacoby Brissett were acquired by the Browns. If general manager Andrew Berry has received any proposals for Mayfield, he would not disclose them.
