Brian Daboll forces the Giants to answer against the Cardinals with their backs against the wall: “I only expressed what I had to say.”

GLENDALE, Arizona — Brian Daboll should be commended for knowing when to call a timeout during Sunday’s historic 31-28 Giants victory over the Arizona Cardinals.

As usual, Daniel Jones described the head coach’s message as “fiery” and “passionate,” emphasizing “the urgency we needed.”

Daboll attributed all the credit to his players, saying that what matters is how Jones and the team overcame a 60-0 season deficit after six quarters on the field, not what he said.

Daboll remarked, “I just said what I had to say.” “A halftime speech or change is really not the issue. You regularly engage in those activities. It seems to me that the player’s will is at play.
