The Los Angeles Lakers have dropped ten of their previous thirteen games, resulting in a complete collapse that has dropped them to 11th place in the Western Conference.

Due to the subpar performance, Darvin Ham’s coaching has come under scrutiny. It has been reported that there is a rift between Ham and the players over lineup decisions and inconsistent rotations.

Prior to the Memphis Grizzlies game on Friday night, Ham talked about the rumors and whether or not they infuriated him.

No, that’s just part of the territory. I’m good, Ham remarked. “We’re all on the same page, my governor Jeanie Buss, the boss lady, and our president Robert Pelinka. I suppose as long as they don’t say it, I’m good. which, given the circumstances, I am aware of how they feel about me. So everyone is in agreement. I communicate with my two captains, and so far, our communication has been excellent.

I speak with the captains, and so far, our communication has been excellent. The only crazy thing about it is that it makes me think of a show I used to watch on 60 Minutes with my father in the 1980s. In that particular episode, they were discussing La Cosa Nostra and the mafia, and some guys were about to go on trial when the star witness appears wearing shades out of fear and a black potato sack over his head, preventing his identity from being revealed.

“It appears that NBA players are now expected to report in this manner on the internet or in other venues. Not every reporter, I don’t want to offend anyone here. However, it seems dishonest to say that “the source is anonymous” when, in reality, they want to give you the information but they also want to put their name on it.

After that, you take the information and give everyone the opportunity to analyze it and disseminate it however they see fit. I wish we could reach a point where people are willing to stick to their convictions.

Maybe then we can actually talk about it and get started. People criticizing the work I’m doing doesn’t bother me. I’m just going to keep working until I’m unable to do it any longer.

Therefore, please just be honest in what you post and refrain from mixing it in with disparaging remarks about other people. That’s what being a coach entails, and that’s what I agreed to when I made that decision.

I’ve been around some amazing guys who do a great job with it and some coaches who haven’t done so great. However, I’m a solid person. I’ve experienced a great deal in my life. I promise, this is a piece of cake.

Ham continued his discussion about what he can do to help the Lakers break out of their current slump. Los Angeles has now lost four games in a row and ten of thirteen to fall to 17-19 on the season after their loss to the Grizzlies.

Ham continued, saying, “You try to just look internally to see what I could be doing better.” “It’s the movie, in my opinion, and how effective it is—effective whenever we can work on the floor and effectively identifying the areas in which we can improve by simply becoming more focused. I have consistently solicited input and involvement from my employees, genuinely hearing their voices alongside mine, of course. When it comes to coaching, I have the last say in the matter.

However, it’s really just the same process of taking in what everyone is seeing. Events transpire, injuries are a fact of life in professional sports, and our performance team works extremely hard to ensure that our players are available to play at their best. But guys have physical problems that occasionally arise when you sign someone, draft someone, or come from another team. In addition, there may be preexisting problems because of the intensity with which we play—I believe we have the best athletes in the world—and you risk putting your body through problems.

The most important thing is to attempt to manage that, and since that’s just how the game is played, there will be instances when players are left out of the lineup for no apparent reason.

In the short term, you have to work through that as well and try to find the pieces that fit and work well together. Hopefully, in the long run, we’ll be able to build out and try to put together the project that we had in mind this summer once we get more bodies back. Thus, it’s just a fact of life in this scenario.

I’ve just made an effort to process everything, take charge of what I can, and truly find peace with the things that are beyond my control. But all we do is focus on finding solutions all the time. Simply viewing every tiny bit of footage and every facet of our game to determine how we can improve and make adjustments given the current situation.
