The Texans’ victory on Saturday night has determined the Giants’ opponents.
The opponents for the New York Giants in 2024 have been revealed, but there is still one game left in the 2023 season.
The Houston Texans’ victory over the Indianapolis Colts on Saturday night has made it easier to predict the Giants’ next opponents. Next season, the NFC East will face the NFC South and the AFC North. The Giants, who are currently in third place in the NFC East, will also face the Indianapolis Colts, who are in third place in the NFC North, NFC West, and AFC South.
Of course, the Giants will play their yearly games against the other teams in the NFC East.
domestic rivals
Cowboys of Dallas (NFC East)
NFC East’s Philadelphia Eagles
Commanders in Washington (NFC East)
Saints of New Orleans (NFC South)
NFC South: Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Third-place NFC North team is the Minnesota Vikings.
Ravens of Baltimore (AFC North)
Bengals of Cincinnati (AFC North)
Indiana Colts: third in the AFC South
Move aside rivals
Cowboys of Dallas (NFC East)
NFC East’s Philadelphia Eagles
Commanders in Washington (NFC East)
Panthers of Carolina (NFC South)
Falcons of Atlanta (NFC South)
Seahawks of Seattle (3rd place in NFC West)
Steelers of Pittsburgh (AFC North)
Browns of Cleveland (AFC North)
It is a difficult schedule for the Giants in 2024 because the AFC North is on it. Similarly, despite Gardner Minshew filling in for an injured Anthony Richardson for the majority of the season, the Colts have improved remarkably this season and were in contention for the postseason.
The schedule itself is not yet available and won’t be for a while. Nonetheless, the Giants benefit a little from splitting their games between home and away. The Giants’ toughest games against the NFC South (Saints and Buccaneers) will be at home, even though they must travel to play the Seahawks. The Bengals and Ravens, two clubs with strong offenses and quarterbacks deserving of MVP awards, will also be hosted by them.
