GREEN BAY, Wisconsin: For supporters of the Green Bay Packers, coach Matt LaFleur has one straightforward request. LaFleur essentially wants them to get rid of something that ought to have been eliminated in 1994.

I’m talking about none other than “The Wave.” Perhaps supporters can avoid taking part in that small piece of American sports history when the Packers are in possession of the ball, according to LaFleur.

“We’re going to have some talks with some people in our building about how we can help educate our fans in certain situations,” LaFleur told the media. “But above all, I adore our fans. In my opinion, our supporters are the best in the National Football League. They provide us with the best support both at home and when we’re traveling. Thus, before I judge them, I always want to begin with that.”
