ESPN REPORT: The Wisconsin star player whom with anger slap Luke Fickell the head coach has been suspended from….

Jack Bicknell Jr., the offensive line coach, has apparently been reassigned by the Wisconsin Badgers, signaling a shift in the offensive coaching staff.

ESPN was the first to report on the change. Wisconsin hasn’t released an official statement.

Prior to the current campaign, Bicknell became a member of Luke Fickell’s coaching staff at Wisconsin.

With 35 years of coaching experience, Bicknell has a significant history in both collegiate and professional football. He most recently served as Louisiana Tech’s head coach from 1999 to 2006. Before joining the Badgers, he held positions at Ole Miss, Auburn, Louisville, and North Carolina. Since 2017, he has only coached the offensive line.

The fact that Wisconsin’s offense did not perform well in 2023 may have contributed to some of the problem.

for the relocation. The Badgers scored only 23.5 points a night on average. It was the Badgers’ lowest scoring performance in almost 20 years, and they were also ranked considerably outside of the Top 50 in scoring.

The offensive line of the Badgers is typically a picture of consistency, and in 2023, that was also the case in terms of personnel, as the line stayed together the entire season. However, the switch to an Air Raid approach wasn’t smooth, as the majority of the offensive linemen were signed to play a different offensive scheme.

Additionally, left tackle Jack Nelson, left guard Joe Huber, and right tackle Riley Mahlman—three starters from the previous campaign—are anticipated to return.

Include the coaching element as well. As a result of Bicknell’s transfer, the Badgers will need to locate their

in four years, the fourth offensive line coach. Following the 2022 season, Bob Bostad departed for Indiana, and Joe Rudolph went for Notre Dame.

The coaching staff that the Badgers select will need to meet their objectives for 2024, chief among them being increasing point totals.
