NRL: Why NZ Warriors coach Andrew Webster is paying no attention to competition ladder in quest for top eight finish | Newshub

NZ Warriors coach Andrew Webster isn’t getting too excited about his team’s 2023 start, even though they are still playing well and are in the running for a top-eight NRL finish.

For Webster’s Warriors, Saturday’s victory over the Redcliffe Dolphins was crucial.

The Warriors class of 2023 has already won seven games out of 13 thus far in round 15 of the NRL, which is one more than they won in the whole of 2022 with Nathan Brown and Stacey Jones.

Although the team has already outperformed last year’s results, the coach insisted that there is still much space for improvement.
