All that Jeff Brohm stated following Louisville’s victory over Boston College.

“We anticipated a challenge from Boston College. The fact that they came close to defeating Florida State at home last week woke up our players. We practiced effectively with the sense of urgency required to win as a result. Honestly, it all begins with the Card March. It was a fantastic showing. Our children adore that. It increases their readiness to play. We started off strong, scoring points and producing a lot of output. Naturally, a few things cooled down after the defense’s early fiery start. I’m quite pleased with how we started. Many of the guys had some excellent plays. A few more men came forward and made more.

“I felt that Jack (Plummer) had a fantastic day. He had practiced quite well this past week. I tell you what, this guy really puts in a lot of work. He invests his time. He is devoted. His goal is to succeed. He may push himself at times because he wants to perform so well. We simply focused on becoming calm, believing in the work you do in practice each day, throwing with conviction, maintaining balance, and having faith in their protection. He played really well, but in my opinion, he also made throws up the field. These weren’t tiny screens; rather, they were vertical shots that fell precisely where they were needed. We were well-protected, and the receivers followed precise routes.
