Head coach of the Virginia football team Tony Elliott made his yearly appearance on Wednesday in Charlotte, North Carolina at the 2023 ACC Football Kickoff event. Elliott gave a preview of the upcoming UVA football season and talked about a number of topics, including in-state recruiting, the depth and experience of the Virginia defensive line, the support that the UVA and Charlottesville communities have shown since the tragic shooting in November, the progress he expects the UVA offense to make this season, and what success looks like for Virginia football in 2023.

However, Tony Muskett’s confidence was evident from the start. It’s not arrogance. It’s confidence rather than arrogance. He didn’t hesitate to enter the locker room and declare, “You know what, guys, I’m here to compete,” right from the start. I’ll carry it out correctly.
