In addition to his coaching duties, Popovich joined the team in 1994 and took on the roles of General Manager and President of Basketball Operations. However, in 2002, he gave R.C. Buford the position of General Manager.

For the last 25 years, Popovich has guided the Spurs to become one of the NBA’s top dynasties, winning five NBA titles (1999, 2003, 2005, 2007 and 2014).

The outstanding plays of legendary players like Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili, Tony Parker, David Robinson, and Kawhi Leonard propelled these victories.
