Zach LaVine, an All-Star for the Chicago Bulls, is reportedly still a strong favorite to join the Los Angeles Lakers in a trade.
“All signs” suggest that the Lakers and Bulls will eventually reach a deal for LaVine, according to Darnell Mayberry of The Athletic. However, it’s unlikely that a deal will be reached before mid-January.
Due to a foot injury, LaVine has not been in the lineup since Nov. 28 and won’t be back for at least a few more weeks. All sides are saying the correct things up to this point, but it’s possible that he’s already played his final game with the Bulls.
