Spurs Drop Their First Game Against the Hawks.

The San Antonio Spurs are still without a win after falling to the Atlanta Hawks 109-99 on Monday afternoon at State Farm Arena.

Even though the Hawks lost by 10 points, it doesn’t accurately depict the nature of the game, which saw them win handily and lead by as many as 35 points at the half.

The Hawks easily won the game in the second half as they controlled the momentum.

With 13 assists, Trae Young scored a game-high 36 points. Dejounte Murray also had a double-double with 13 points and 13 rebounds.

After sitting out the game on Saturday to rest, rookie Victor Wembanyama led the Spurs with 26 points and 13 rebounds in his comeback to the court.
