Lions QB Jared Goff Responds to a Question Regarding the WR Controversy.

Jared Goff, the quarterback for the Detroit Lions, looks prepared to end the drama involving wide receiver Jameson Williams.

On June 6, Goff was questioned regarding the March tweet that Williams had liked, which implied that quarterback Lamar Jackson might be traded to the Lions. Goff responded on Tuesday after Williams already dismissed the possible controversy by stating he had no intention of criticizing his quarterback.

Following the first day of required minicamp, Jameson’s tweet was discussed in a media session, as Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reported. Goff responded sharply, as Birkett pointed out, indicating that he was not in the mood to answer the question. The quarterback for the Lions added that Williams’ admiration and backing of the Ravens quarterback seemed appropriate.

“You guys seem to be bored?” Goff informed the press. Yeah, everything is well. It’s okay that he likes Lamar. We’re going to have a great time this year, and even though I like a lot of receivers, I really like Jamo.
