Six Rams coaches and players will not return in 2024, and two will.

Returning to the subject of the Rams’ offensive line, the entire group should appear very different in 2024. In addition to having to replace a few starters up front, Ryan Wendell, the offensive line coach, must be let go by the Rams.

This season, the number of times we have witnessed Rams offensive linemen not working during a play is excessive. They either give up on finding employment or fall behind on a project, like a screen play, for example. The Rams need to find a replacement because Wendell doesn’t seem to have his team ready for the NFL level of play every week.

Given the number of elite veteran players the Rams defense has lost in recent years, we anticipated some difficult times for the unit. However, 2024 will see the departure of inside linebacker Christian Rozeboom, who will need to be replaced. This year, he has had really terrible play.

Rozeboom is unimportant when asked to drop into coverage. This season, he has given up 21 receptions on 26 targets, or nearly an 81 percent completion rate to opposing quarterbacks. When targeted, quarterbacks are rating him at 94.4 yards. As if his coverage abilities weren’t already poor enough, Rozeboom has had difficulty finishing this season, missing 20% of his tackles thus far.
