NBA MVP odds for Luka Doncic, top over/under prop bets for 2023–24.

In Texas, everything is bigger—aside from the Mavericks’ aspirations. The Mavericks of 2022–23 failed to qualify for the playoffs, capping an encouraging season. That was a year defined by the team’s excruciatingly slow play, dependency on Luka Doncic far too much, and lack of a second star.

The Mavs will now focus on 2023–2024 and hope that their decision to invest in Kyrie Irving doesn’t backfire, as it has for almost every other team that has had him on staff. One thing the Mavs deserve credit for is realizing that a team aiming for success couldn’t have a deficiency of talent, depth, or defense. Similar to the days on “Shark Tank,” Mark Cuban made an investment in his group, but not everyone will come out on top. It begins at the top, just like any other company. Doncic needs to get back to his previous season’s level of play. He’ll need to figure out how to work with Irving in an offense that has two players who are strong ball players and isolation players.

Determining which team to bet on during a particular season can often be difficult. There are moments when it’s just not worth investing in a market where you won’t see returns for several months. We understand that it can be difficult to be patient in a society that values instant gratification. So let this be your guide to the Dallas Mavericks’ prospects for 2023–2024. Thanks to SuperDraft, we have the chance to give you our take on Doncic’s season before it even begins on Wednesday, Oct. 25 in San Antonio.

Spoiler alert: Doncic and Dallas seem to be headed for a successful season, but not for the reason you might expect. Let’s examine Doncic’s chances of winning MVP and discuss the top two Doncic wagers.
