NFL Insider Says Jim Harbaugh’s Best Chance to Get Hired in the NFL May Be This Offseason.

For the majority of the season, there have been rumors that Jim Harbaugh, the head coach of Michigan and a former Stanford graduate, is headed to the NFL.

Paul Finebaum of ESPN even stated that he would practically immediately depart for the NFL following the national championship game. Many people would find it logical if it did occur. After winning the championship, Michigan has been dealing with a number of scandals that Harbaugh may not want to deal with any more because he was suspended twice. Having gone so close to winning a Super Bowl with the San Francisco 49ers, he might also want another chance at the NFL. Not to mention that the Wolverines are losing a lot of players.

Although there have been rumors of Harbaugh joining the NFL for a few years, NFL insider Dan Wetzel stated on The Dan Patrick Show that this hiring cycle might be his best opportunity to secure a high-profile NFL position.

Wetzel remarked, “You know, he’s 40-3 in the last three years and won a national title.” “Jim Harbaugh enjoys a great deal of support from the school as well as from supporters and fans. I concur with you, but they want to hold onto him. There’s only so much you could do, in my opinion. Go to the Chargers if you’d like to visit them.
