Iowa star Caitlin Clark avoids injury after colliding with a fan during a court-storming incident at Ohio State.

OWL player Caitlin Clark was most severely hurt in a Sunday collision with an Ohio State supporter.

Following their team’s 100-92 overtime victory over the No. 2 Hawkeyes, Ohio State supporters descended onto the court. The dangers of court-storming celebrations were highlighted when one of them ran into Clark.

The incident occurred during a very disappointing moment for the Hawkeyes, who allowed a 45-point explosion from Clark go unanswered and watched a slim lead against the No. 18 Buckeyes slip away in the fourth quarter. Clark, the current national player of the year, looked good once more, but Iowa lost for the first time since November 16 after giving up a season-high 100 points.
