Nolan Writin’s 2023 season projections for the Texas Rangers.

The Texas Rangers are getting ready for a big season, one in which we will ultimately witness whether or not the offseason decisions they made will have an impact on this team’s transformation from mediocre to outstanding. Given the Rangers’ poor performance in recent years, there are high expectations for this season among fans who, at the very least, want to see some improvement.

The Nolan Writin team assembled their best-case scenarios for the season. Fans who are a little confused about what to expect should benefit from this.

This offseason, the Texas Rangers added a ton of firepower in multiple ways. In order to improve the offense, they added Marcus Semien and Corey Seager to the lineup during the previous offseason. And that’s precisely what took place. They added pitching this offseason, but more precisely, they added Jacob deGrom, one of the best pitchers in baseball. Although they added a few more guys, the guy who we are certain will have a fantastic season is the focus of the headlines. Then they brought in Bruce Bochy, a manager with a history of championships, to take over. When all of that is considered, I believe the Rangers can only get better. Last year, they finished 68-94. I believe they get better.
