Iowa women’s basketball 2023-24 season to be chronicled in new photo Caitlin Clark and No. 5 Iowa women’s basketball are and essay book

The women’s basketball team at No. 5 Iowa, led by Caitlin Clark, is having a fantastic 2023–24 season. As March draws near, there will probably be many more moments to come.

An essay book and photo book chronicling the Hawkeyes’ campaign is being produced by the University of Iowa’s School of Journalism and Mass Communication in collaboration with The Daily Iowan.

On the publication’s website, you may pre-order the project for $30, or $15 for University of Iowa students. The Daily Iowan reports that the book will be available “late April / early May.” With almost 160 pages, the book will benefit the University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital with $1 from every pre-sale.

The remaining funds will be used to “support University of Iowa students’ travel opportunities and hands-on learning experiences.”

The book’s material will include “photos taken by Daily Iowan photographers (from games, practices and behind-the-scenes with the team), essays from campus and national experts and thought-leaders in women’s athletics, and stories written by journalism students about this significant moment in Iowa athletics and women’s basketball,” according to the site.
