Kiki Jefferson and Louisville Outpace Boston College to Maintain Their Home-Side Win Record
Thanks to the most points scored by a Louisville player this season, the Cardinals are now 10-0 at the KFC Yum! Center.

LOUISVILLE, KY: Thursday night at the KFC Yum! Center, the No. 18/16 Louisville women’s basketball team (17-3, 6-1 ACC) defeated Boston College (11-10, 3-5 ACC) 88-60 to get back on track. With a season-high 27 points on 8 of 14 field goals and 9 of 11 free throws, Kiki Jefferson was unstoppable. She also added seven rebounds, four assists, and a steal. With 27 points, Jefferson has led all Cardinals in scoring so far this year.

Olivia Cochran completed the double-digit scorers with 10 points, seven rebounds, an assist, and a block. Elif Istanbulluoglu scored a career-high 11 points and four rebounds on 5-for-8 shooting. Both Nyla Harris and Nina Rickards contributed in various ways; the latter finished with seven points, six rebounds, an assist, and three steals, while the former finished with six points, four rebounds, four assists, and a steal.

After just two minutes of play, the Cards led 10-4, and Cochran’s six points in the first quarter gave Louisville a lead of 18-13 heading into the second half.
